Company Formation

Isoperla was formed in 2007 after receiving an regional innovation award in association with Bath Spa University and Bath University's Ventures Innovation Centre. The award was to help develop a new generation of wildlife field guides for mobile platforms using quantitative statistics for species identification.

App Development

As well as having our own products, Isoperla help digital agencies and other companies develop creative and elegant apps of their own. We also provide consultancy, helping companies get to grips with the app development process.

Partnerships

With the help of Enterprise Europe, Isoperla teamed up with Sunbird Images in 2010. Sunbird is owned and run by Dr. Peter Mullen and Dr. Georg Pohland, highly respected published scientists with several book chapters and journal articles between them.

We also work with content providers such as David Farrow author of the popular 'Field Guide to the Bird Songs and Calls of Britain and Northern Europe', the wildlife photographer Robin Chittenden, Chris van Swaay of Dutch Butterfly Conservation, Simon Mackie of the Hardy Orchid Society and the Amphibian and Reptile Conservation Trust (ARC).
