FishId is an identification guide to British freshwater coarse fish and non-migratory trout.

The identification system uses the KUSAM method and as such is easy to use. The program works by first asking a short series of simple questions, any of which may be skipped if you are not sure of the answer.

The program then presents a list of all common freshwater fish found in the British Isles in order of likelihood that each is correct based on the answers you have given. You may then click on a fish to see more details in order to confirm your identification.
